Logo evolution is continuous. The volume of information is growing, while people have less and less time to process it. To capture the attention of both current and potential customers, logos are becoming increasingly expressive and more Yang (from Feng Shui point of view). Here are a few recent examples.
In the summer of 2026, as a result of rebranding, the logo of fast-food mastodon KFC became even more Yang (see the image below):
In June of this year, Sam’s Club—a major American chain of wholesale warehouse clubs owned by Walmart—also strengthened its logo (see the image below):
The trademark of Bob’s Red Mill, a well-known American brand of natural and organic foods, has become more modern, and therefore more expressive, minimalist, and Yang:
Another example of logo reinforcement and improvement is Threads. This is a social network for sharing text messages, short videos, and photos, created by Meta (the owner of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp). Threads was launched in the summer of 2023 as a direct competitor to the X platform (formerly Twitter) and became the fastest-growing app in history by download count:
Finally, take a look at the enhanced expressiveness of the Great Value logo. This is the private label of Walmart, the world’s largest supermarket chain. It was founded in 1993 and is one of the most popular budget brands in the United States:
